In just a few short years since making its debut, the H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner has established its own unique identity among the various integrated bracelet sports watches, and it has become one of the cornerstone offerings in Moser’s catalog. With that in mind, up until this point in time, the Streamliner has only ever been offered on a metal bracelet, regardless of the specific model or the materials used in its construction. However, as its latest new release for 2023, Moser has separated the Streamliner from its signature integrated bracelet and created a new boutique-exclusive version of its flyback chronograph.1:1 replica watches uk Crafted from red gold and featuring a green dial with a black rubber strap, the new H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner Flyback Chronograph Automatic Boutique Edition offers a unique take on the brand’s fan-favorite sports model, and it will only be available from its dedicated retail spaces and online sales platform.
Previously, the chronograph version of the Streamliner was only available in stainless steel, although the new H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner Flyback Chronograph Automatic Boutique Edition (ref. ref. 6907-0400) features its 42.3mm-wide by 14.2mm-thick cushion-shaped case crafted from solid 5N red gold. Beyond the update in materials, the rest of the case remains unchanged, and it features a pair of oblong chronograph pushers at 10 o’clock and 2 o’clock, along with a signed screw-down crown at the 4 o’clock location. A slightly domed sapphire crystal sits above the dial, while a flat sapphire crystal is fitted to the screw-on display caseback, and since the Streamliner Flyback Chronograph features a dynamic water resistance of 120 meters, its two pushers can be fully operated while underwater.
Despite being incredibly practical and a feature that I personally believe should be more-or-less obligatory on all dive watches that are equipped with chronograph complications, dynamic water resistance isn’t actually all that common, and I don’t really think anyone would have held it against Moser if the pushers on the Streamliner were not able to be operated while the watch is submerged — especially not on this solid gold execution of the model. However, a user-friendly approach is characteristic of many Moser designs (its fool-proof perpetual calendar movement that cannot be damaged by improper setting is also a good example of this), and I personally find it a bit amusing that this solid gold flyback chronograph can be operated at depth, while many diver’s chronographs with burly cases and downright excessive depth ratings cannot.
The dial fitted to the new H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner Flyback Chronograph Automatic Boutique Edition follows the same overall design and layout as previous versions, although it now appears in the brand’s “Matrix Green” color that first appeared on the time-only version of the model. Just like previous executions of the Streamliner Flyback Chronograph, the new green dial features a sunburst finish with a fumé effect that darkens towards the outer edge, while a tachymeter scale sits along the outer perimeter of the checkerboard-style minute track. Other than being finished with 5N red gold to match the case, the hands offer the same shape and style as what can be found on the stainless steel models, complete with their Globolight luminous inserts, replica watches while the large applied “60” marker has also been carried over from the stainless steel chronograph models (now finished in 5N red gold to match the case), with the H. Moser & Cie. name subtly sitting below it in transparent lacquer.
